Age Structure and Resident Type (S001): Milton Keynes, England and Wales ( JDS001C )

This table was obtained from the 2001 Census, Standard Tables. The table provides information in numbers and percentages on Age by Gender and Type of Residents. Age is derived from the date of birth question and is the age at a person’s last birthday. Dates of birth that imply an age over 110 are treated as invalid and the person’s age is imputed. A household resident is any person who usually lives at the address, or who has no other usual address. A communal establishment is defined as an establishment providing managed residential accommodation. Managed means full-time or part-time supervision of the accommodation. Cells in this table have been randomly adjusted to avoid the release of confidential data. Communal Establishment residents includes staff and their families; other residents and people sleeping rough. The confidentiality of personal Census information is paramount, and disclosure protection measures are used to prevent the inadvertent disclosure of information about identifiable individuals.
