This table provides information about the % of pupils achieving GCSE and equivalent results between 2005/6 and 2012/13 by gender for each Local Authority and Government Office Region. The data was obtained from Department for Education. The total number of pupils are determined by the number of pupils on roll aged 15 at the start of the academic year, i.e. 31 August 2010. This is used as the denominator population to calculate the percentage data. The figure for England is the average of all schools.
