This table was obtained from the 2001 Census, Standard Tables. This table provides information in numbers and percentages on Gender and Age by General Health and Limited Long-term Illness (LLTI). This standard table (S016) relates to the private household population. Limiting Long Term Illness (LLTI) is a self assessment of whether or not a person has a limiting long-term illness, health problem or disability which limits their daily activities or the work they can do, including problems that are due to old age.General health is a self-assessment of a person’s general health over the 12 months before the Census. The confidentiality of personal Census information is paramount, and disclosure protection measures are used to prevent the inadvertent disclosure of information about identifiable individuals.
