This table provides information about Indices of Multiple Deprivation (IMD) 2004, 2007, 2010 and 2015. They are a measure of multiple deprivation at the small area level. Based on the idea of distinct dimensions of deprivation which can be recognised and measured separately. These are then combined into a single overall measure. Figures for Estates and Settlements were estimated using population weighted averages of the Super Output Area data.
Due to how the figures are calculated they should be used with caution. LSOA boundaries do not match estates and settlements so an estate’s score and rank may be effected by part of an LSOA which is not within it boundaries.
