These data were collected from the 2001 Census, Key Statistics. This table provides information in numbers and percentages of the population by Religious belief. Religion is defined as a belief in and reverence for a supernatural power or powers regarded as creator and governor of the universe. This was a voluntary question. As a result, non-responses were not imputed but were added to the category ‘not stated’.
